Michael David Rawding was born in Canada, Halifax Nova Scotia, June 21st 1985. He grew up outside of a small town in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. He is the second born son of David and Joan Rawding. His father died when he was 11 years old from a brain tumor in 1996; leaving his mother to raise him and his twin brother Bill.\n\nMichael worked various labour intensive jobs throughout high school and attended the Lunenburg Adult High School (L.A.H.S.) at the local NSCC in Bridgewater. Upon graduating high school he attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia majoring in English. He obtained a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario. Michael taught English as a second language in China for over two years throughout 2010 – 2012. He also attended Ravensberg College where he obtained a Law Enforcement Foundations degree for policing in 2014.\n\nMichael started writing fiction short stories in high school and wrote Ouroboros: Chasing the Dragon in 2005 (originally a short story which later became a fiction novel). He wrote his first fiction manuscript called Into the Mind of a Psychopath in 2008 (later on edited and re-titled Profile of the Gemini Serial Killer) which stemmed into the Detective Jonathon Cratick Series. When Michael was living in Hamilton Ontario in 2010 he wrote the manuscript Legend of the Lichan which would also become part of the Lichan Trilogy. While teaching in China in 2010-2012 he wrote short stories and poems.\n\nMichael has moved around and lived in many provinces throughout Canada including, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario and Alberta. He moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2018 where he currently resides. He took a security job in Calgary and pursued his passion of writing.\n\nHe writes a weekly blog called “Just Hear Me Out” which pertains to social issues on a wide range of topics such as; writing, health, mental health, education, technology, relationships, goals, hobbies, addictions and motivation.\n\nFrom February 2018 to current date he has written many Fiction Novels, Short Stories and Non-Fiction books.
